Event Date: June 27, 2025 | Venue: SGA Main Office

SGA Solar Grid Alternatives, Inc. once again brought its core team together for the highly anticipated Quarterly Pep Talk last June 27, 2025, held at the company’s main office. True to SGA’s commitment to cultivating leadership, collaboration, and communication across departments, the event was a powerful gathering that inspired reflection, growth, and connection.
This quarter’s theme centered around leadership and communication — two pillars that guide SGA’s success not only in solar energy solutions but also in building a strong and purpose-driven organization. Four distinguished speakers, all leaders in their own right within the company, shared valuable insights and personal reflections on how effective leadership starts with genuine, honest, and empathetic communication.
Speaker Highlights

Leobert Severo opened the session with his compelling topic, “Communication: Build Bridges, Not Walls.”
He emphasized the importance of open, respectful dialogue in both professional and personal relationships. “At SGA, every message matters — whether it’s a client concern or a teammate’s idea. We don’t just talk; we connect,” he said, encouraging the team to create spaces where voices are heard and respected.
Ralph Richardson Flores followed with a dynamic discussion on “Leadership Styles: Understanding Different Leadership Approaches and Their Effects.”
Ralph explored the spectrum of leadership styles — from autocratic to democratic to transformational — and how each one impacts team performance and morale. His message was clear: “There’s no one-size-fits-all leader. What matters is learning to adapt, understanding your team, and staying true to your values.”
Rafael Estanislao delivered a powerful talk titled “Communication is Leadership: The Critical Role of Clear, Honest, and Timely Communication.”
He unpacked how clarity in communication reflects a leader’s character, builds team alignment, and drives results. “Delayed messages create missed opportunities. Honest and timely words build trust — and trust is the foundation of leadership,” Rafael shared.
Dariel Nonog closed the event with the heartfelt message, “Leading with Empathy: How Understanding and Caring for Your Team Strengthens Trust and Performance.”
Dariel spoke about emotional intelligence and the human side of leadership. “Empathy isn’t weakness — it’s strength. It’s knowing your people, feeling with them, and standing by them. That’s how you lead with impact,” he emphasized.
Building a Culture of Growth and Unity

The June Pep Talk was more than just a learning session — it was a reminder of SGA’s identity as a values-driven, people-first company. Each speaker highlighted not only practical strategies but also lived experiences, making the event engaging and deeply relatable.
As the session ended, employees left the room with more than notes — they carried renewed energy, better understanding of themselves and their teammates, and a stronger sense of purpose within SGA.
At SGA Solar Grid Alternatives, Inc., we believe that leadership begins with listening, grows with empathy, and thrives in communication.
Stay tuned for the next Quarterly Pep Talk as we continue empowering our team to lead change — in the solar industry, and beyond.
